Oer-Wout's work has a wonderful feeling of depth, almost like it pulls you into the scene. I love his forest landscapes with all that misty fog - those are my favourites. But his seascapes are fantastic too...I think he must saturate his colors...if he's using HDR he does it well (most photographers overdo it)... but even his choice of lens is perfect for every shot. Yes, I love those clocks, too...and one of my faves of his is the hourglass in that series. The concept of time, anything ancient and mysterious and occult has always been a fascinating theme. I have a huge library of photos for that sort of thing, though I don't manip that much anymore, just use ideas for painting reference. I think my fave clock is the Prague medieval Astronomical Clock the one that the figure of death strikes the hour.
